Certificants are expected to maintain the high standards of the accounts payable profession by selecting quality education programmes to fulfill the continuing education requirements.
Qualifying Continuing Professional Education Activities
The overriding consideration in determining whether a specific continuing education programme is acceptable is that it is a formal programme of learning which contributes directly to the professional competence of the individual. Acceptable formal programmes may fall under the categories of education, publications, oral presentations, or professional participation. Qualifying IAPP Activities
The following will qualify for continuing education credits based on programme length:
• IAPP Annual Forum
• IAPP Webinars and E-Learning
• IAPP Seminars and Workshops
• Speak in the general session at the IAPP Annual Forum
• Facilitate a workshop at the IAPP Annual Forum
• Attend a local chapter meeting
• Present an educational session for an IAPP local chapter
• Attend training and submit questions for future exams
• Prepare a publishable article for AP Matters
IAPP Member-only Activities
