Apply for the CAPP exam by downloading, completing and submitting the application/registration form along with the required proof of education and experience, as well as required payment information.

Candidates must also download, read, sign, and submit the IAPP Code of Ethics. A signed submission of the code is required.

Once a candidate’s application has been approved and all required paperwork has been submitted, IAPP will confirm successful registration and provide instructions for reserving an exam date, time, and location. 

Candidates who do not meet the required qualifications will receive a notification of denial. For credit card charges, only the application fee will be processed. For payments made via cheque, a refund cheque will be issued, but only for the exam registration fee (the application fee is not refundable).
